Sergio Villalobos
Sergio Villalobos Rivera (born 1930) is a Chilean historian,[1] who [2] was given the Chilean National award of History in 1992.[3]
He is influenced by the new history, and take new perspective of the history of Chile, using the longue durée 'Long Duration' of Fernand Braudel to decipher all their content. He had many conflicts by their postures, for example with the mapuche people.
His biggest work is the Historia del pueblo chileno (History of the Chilean people).
